For me, there are two major deal breakers as far as features that are not listed in the description 1. In-game currency - it's in Euros ONLY, and there is no way to change the currency to US$, as I'd like since I live in the US, hence I think in US$, not in Euros 2. It's not endless - the game is round based, it looks after 30 days game time, the game will end, thus losing all the work we put in, all the assets, everything - if we want to continue to enjoy the game, a new game is needed, fresh, from the start, and we have to build up all over again all the assets now, this is something very frustrating to me, hence not fun, as such it's not what I've expected from this game, and the developers need to know that us, buyers, are unhappy with their product, so they can make a better on in the future I feel a bit sorry for the negative review I'm posting, because I can tell that a lot of hard work was put in for development, but, yet, at the same time, if they care and read, our feedback, the developers need to understand it's a buyer's market, and they need to provide products that will be appealing - not frustrating - to us sadly I had some suspicions it may not be what I was expecting even before I got it, so I'm truly sorry to see I was right to suspect it's not a good one... I've uninstalled already...

I bought this game after reading all the reviews. Some negative reviews really portrait personal opinion and experience with the game which is in no way should be generalized but should be considered before buying. I had this game on my WISH LIST for months, but I hesitated to buy it because of the number of negative reviews. Non the less, I bought it on sale, and I liked it. Gameplay I have Trans Ocean 1 & 2, and I am enjoying this one. I assume you watch YouTube to learn more about this game in case you did not play Trans Ocean and American Truck simulator. The gameplay may not be for everyone. • In general, this game offers a lot. The gameplay is very similar to Trans Ocean but on land and requires a lot of micro-management as well. • Also, it is played almost like American Truck simulator (it has all the futures from ATS such as buying trucks, Garages, different types of Trailers and all related upgrades, etc., …). • You cannot drive a truck here. Instead, you will play as a manager with a better control over the company (employees and other assets). Performance: I did not experience optimization issues (lags or crashes) as some people warned about. Depending on your computer specification: having a moderate system (processor and video card), you may experience lags on high graphic settings (check PC requirements before buying). I have the following PC’s specification which is more than the game’s requirements Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5700 @3.70 GHz Ram: 16.0 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12G Hard Drive: SSD Display Resolution: 1920 * 1080 Windows 11 Home edition

Just bought this, mixed about it. It is a very casual grinder game, was hoping for a more deep sim. For what it is, it is ok. Problem is every three minutes or so the game freezes for about 15 seconds. When it plays it also suffer from mircostuddering. Update: Had two crashes to boot. There is a big problem with the economic balance, you need to grind for in game years before expanding or buying more trucks.

I like the idea of this game, but I sadly can’t recommend it in its current state. However, from what I was able to play (due to the sluggish performance & low FPS) I liked what I saw. I think it has potential, but it needs some serious work on the performance front. Based on the reviews and discussions in the forum, this is a common issue for practically everyone that’s played the game. Hopefully the devs will take notice and correct this ASAP. As far as the review, in short – my low down quick & dirty is: if you liked playing TransOcean 1 & 2, you'll probably like this game. It's made by the same devs and is basically the same game, just with tractor trailers carrying freight from Point A to Point B. My advice is to wait for a few updates to roll out that fix the performance issues before buying. If and when they do, I’ll change this review to a recommended / thumbs up. My PC specs are listed on my profile for review & comparison. Note – I’ve only tried this on my gaming laptop at the time of this review. UPDATE #1: I've tried it on all my computers, and I get the same performance issues on the others as well. Is it playable? Just barely…not sure about you, but I don’t like to waste my cash ($21.24) on a just barely playable game. To be honest, 4 days now since release and we are yet to have a patch. Due to this, I'm honestly considering a refund, as well as never purchasing a Deck 13 Hamburg or an astragon Entertainment GmbH product again. I think these issues should have been addressed before releasing. I mean what were their test machines, and on what settings did they try the game on?? If you (I do) compare other botched releases to this one, others have worked hard to correct the issues pretty much IMMEDIATELY (i.e. CMS 2018). I for one am not at all sympathetic to these developers having to “research” the cause of their issues. There really shouldn’t be any excuses - it’s practically the same game they’ve produced before (TransOcean), just on land, and…it uses the same ENGINE (Unity)! I’m really not sure why it’s a big surprise to these folks all of a sudden?? At the time of this update, I still stand behind my review as “Not Recommended.” Caveat Emptor, eh?! UPDATE #2: I've recently been playing the Beta update, and things seem to be improving. I'm now seeing better performance while playing, but I'm also getting locks and crashes. Obviously I'm now over my time limit to refund, so I guess I'm riding it out. I seriously doubt I'll update this review again, unless I'm just blown away with future updates & changes. My final verdict - if you really, really like trucking logistics or management games, AND can live with issues that may never be fixed. Then do yourself a favor, and wait to grab it on a very generous sale or in a cheap bundle. Overall though, I still can't recommend it. Save your money and stay far, far away from it...

For the record i am a massive fan of the Transocean series and really hoped this game was going to live up to the name sadly it does not. Its a great concept but very rushed, the UI is a mess to navigate, The driver system is stupid since there is no way to train your drivers to have different licences, and it didnt seem to run as bad as claimed by most reviewers. It does look like crap compaired to deck13s other series. This game would have benifited massively by delaying a couple months to clean it up and really flush out the concept. To bad it will get a few patches then be dropped just like Transocean 2 was. Im not sure where Deck13s talent went but its clear the quality of games are going downhill fast since Transocean 1.

This game has some fairly hefty negative reviews, and they are warranted from my experience. I haven't played long, and I have crashed once. I get a hiccup of about 15-30 seconds every 10 minutes or so, that is quite annoying. It doesn't seem to matter what my graphic settings are either, the hiccups always occur and seem to last the same amount of time. So after saying that, I still find this game as fun, and a great starting step into something that could be very cool. I don't know the devs plan to open up the world map, and add shipping freight over water and air to the trucking aspect. I could see a couple very cool expansions that add the rest of the western hemisphere and the world, as well as ships and maybe air freight. So these things may never come, and that would be terrible in my opinion, but this game is still fun as is, and with a little work to better optimize the game, to remove the crashes and hiccups, this game would be better suited for the masses. I would recommend anyone that enjoys these types of management games, to invest in the project and let the devs know you want to see more in this game and genre. The best way to do that is support this first iteration and let them know you want me as I have.

Just reinstalled out of curiosity and can confirm, this game is still JUNK. This game has a huge amount of potential......that's just it, potential. The frame rates are 1990's standard, the gameplay is plagued by bugs including contracts not being able to be completed because a truck glitches out and is unusable, trucks being purchased and arriving at a garage but you're unable to task them because the truck is still "enroute", game freezes everytime a contract is finished or a stupid "new article" appears to tell you that a truck was stopped and a licence checked....which seems to have not standing on the game. The game is crap, why? Because greedy developers can't get their act together and provide a stable game. This thing should still be in Alpha not being flogged off as full game. Refund requested, 14hours played, I'll be lucky if I get a refund. I tried hard to like the game but the constant glitchy, slow frame rate and crappy gameplay has made me hate this piece of junk. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Ok I really enjoy this game, I have played 30+ hrs and had no crashes yet, this game does not hand you the cash you earn it. I have 3 saves going ATM and everyone is different. Best management trucking game I have played. IRL I been a owner operator for over 32 years and let me tell you this title is as close to real as it goes as far as company management. Take a big loan and you will struggle, don't watch the market you will struggle, the economy is great, fuel prices randomly go up and down to help or eat your profit, drivers want raises which effects your bottom line. Buy cheap trucks you will pay in late deliveries. Now understand this is a new game there are optimization issues as in other reviews, however in my case not game breaking, devs know about them and are working out to fix issues. But as game is now it's worth the money

Pre Alpha quality. The game was released much to early. It's a shame because I enjoyed playing it, sadly I had to restart 5 times because I kept getting game braking bugs. Now I'm just fed up with it and I've lost interest because the frustration has overtaken the enjoyment.

I've got about 10 hours into this now, mostly on the Sandbox mode. I briefly played the Campaign, and decided I understood the basics well enough. The game is a lot of fun. If you enjoy management sims, this is going to be fun for you! I'm not sure I'd $24.99 for it, but I got it on sale for 16-17 bucks and it has been well worth the investment. The main reason I'm writing the review is because I ran into an issue with what I thought was a bug, and it turned out I didn't understand how part of the UI functioned. The developer responded within four hours and it sorted my issues out. I wish there was a double thumbs up or something just for these situations.

Overview: TransRoad: USA is a management simulation game that involves running a trucking company in the USA, and expanding into a trucking empire with three possible modes. The first a campaign in which the player and his partner get back at their ex-boss after being fired, the second a quest in which objectives are met for bonus money and more objectives, and the third a sandbox which the player will likely play for the sake of earning achievements. Much like a perfected version of Freight Tycoon, Inc., (which is also on Steam, but I do not recommend purchasing) the player starts out with one truck and only the ability to accept freight hauling contracts from a city's basic trade area. Successfully completing contracts within the deadline will boost a player's relations with both the buyer and seller, and once the player reaches the first level of relations with companies, the companies will then offer contracts to the player which are usually worth more than the contracts offered by civic trade areas, and with incentive to max out relations with everyone so that more lucrative contracts can be accepted, along with unlimited contracts in which the player has to haul a minimum amount of freight between two points within a week. Expansion involves buying out other depots on the map, which increases the ability to own and operate more trucks. As the player progresses, concessions (rights) for new types of trailers can be purchased to haul even more valuable cargo than what the basic dry van trailer can move, and once all of the depots on a map are bought up, the player can only expand through buying out other trucking firms. Graphics and sound: The graphics aren't overly sharp, but there's nothing game-breaking about them. It's nice to see major landmarks in American cities, and depending on the type of trailer a truck is carrying, it is enjoyable to watch trailers get loaded. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1276811484 The sound does what it needs to, except the mouse-clicking sound is annoying. Fortunately this sound (and many more) can be changed in the settings, complete with the ability to mute individual types of sounds. Music is accomplished through the use of internet radio stations, so you will need to be online if you want to listen to any of the radio stations. Despite this method of corner-cutting (though it is a viable alternative to having to purchase rights to use songs from music labels), TransRoad: USA deserves respect for putting in a Punk Rock station. (It's not a very reliable station, but the developers deserve praise for remembering this important style of music.) Positives: TransRoad: USA allows for trucks to handle up to three contracts on a single schedule, so if you're the type of player who can't stand moving cargo from Point A to Point B with no ability to haul cargo along the way back to Point A, you don't have to settle for that. (Contract offers permitting.) And while a player could come up with more complex routing methods for hauling freight (especially on long distance routes), most players should be content with "only" being able to apply three contracts to a single schedule at a time. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1259102086 Special contracts also makes TransRoad: USA very exciting. Some special contracts are more interesting (as well as more difficult) than others, but regardless of one's personal opinion, the bonus money associated with even a low-volume special contract is often a good enough incentive to try and complete them. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1273154381 The developers of TransRoad: USA do keep a sharp eye on the community. Who knows? Maybe one will even reply to you personally if you have an opinion to state about the game. One of the developers may even like your screenshots of the way you play the game. Negatives: While TransRoad: USA has many different brands of trucks (with each make featuring six different models), I've found that the game has created a few trucks (all within the same make) as the "be all, end all." Unless maybe the player wants to buy Peters' trucks because they love Peterbilt, there's really no reason for the player to buy anything other than Zeds. In the campaign, the on-screen text often doesn't match what voiceovers are saying. This is normally forgivable, but it happens too much in the campaign to where it can be agitating. TransRoad: USA has plenty of on-screen movement while the game is paused, and this could be a problem for people looking to get that perfect screenshot, but the main reason this is a problem, is because it can confuse the player into thinking that the game isn't paused. While eight schedules seems like plenty for the most part (there's seven types of trailers that trucks can haul), a special contract can change this, and it can feel like not enough, and especially if you've established a network of unlimited contracts that you wish to keep on their assigned schedule when you get late in the game. The way icons work, sometimes player is going to have to zoom in extremely close just to be able to click on what it is they exactly want to click on. This gets agitating later on when you're empire is so big that you'll rarely need to zoom in, except just to see what businesses are in a city. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1270923151 Dragging contracts to schedules and trucks to contracts often glitches, and many times I have to reload the game just to accomplish a fundamental aspect of the game. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1260582988 Six trucks and trailers per deopt is manageable for the most part, but once your trucking company becomes large, trucks become more difficult to manage, and with the game offering the player no help. Six trucks and trailers per depot feels like way too little, and with no way of hoarding trailers. (Trailers not in use have to be sold at a loss.) Unlimited contracts later on often require more than six trucks, and with no ability to assign a default depot to drive to when not hauling loads, depots can end up with a huge mix of different trailer types, which is irritating to players who wish to keep their trailer types the same at each depot. All this, and having to do a manual count of trucks with differing axle and trailer types with the depot list not being in alphabetical order drives me crazier than a laughing hyena on crack rock. Another thing that's aggravating about TransRoad: USA, is that despite having trucks on a single schedule, there's no true ability for trucks to form convoys. This may not be an issue if trucks have widely varying amounts of horsepower, but since I believe in keeping my fleet as homogeneous as the audience of a Trump rally, once I'm able to exclusively purchase new trucks of the same horsepower, it's irritating having to see a convoy that stretches from the east coast to the midwest. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1273023264 This game has reefer trailers, but no achievement called "Reefer Madness." Conclusion: 2018 has started out with my life being dominated by TransRoad:USA, so I will say right away that this game is a strong buy at any price. While I may not have stated in the "positives" exactly why this game is so good, TransRoad: USA is an example of why a certain niche loves management simulation games: Taking entities in hopeless situations, and making them indomintable. Although every management sim becomes repetitive to some extent, the campaign in TransRoad: USA helps deal with repetition by throwing in the occasional problem so challenges change instead of turning into an inverse difficulty curve. Sure I have gripes, but it means that I'm passionate and have played long enough to where they've become issues, and the developers give me hope that at least the worst problems will be addressed one day.

The bugs are not the major problem with the game. Bugs can be fixed, the problem with this game is it's just too boring. This is coming from someone who plays every management type sim out there. The depth is too shallow, game is too easy. It is a game that is literally just about buying trucks, and getting contracts until you've expanded so much that you've taken over the US with 2 way rolling contracts that never ends, there is no difficulty at all, there are what seems to be competitors, but I've seen very little competing going on. Drivers are just name on a sheet with cost, trucks are very broad ranged, but you won't go wrong with buying just that single brand's trucks with the highest horsepower and fairly low maintenance cost, so you end up just buying that single brand in the game once you're not dependent on the savings on the 2nd hand trucks. I would only recommend this game if it somehow miraculously got merged with Euro Truck Simulator so I can do the driving myself and actually try to beat contract times.

Well, it's getting really boring after you get your first 2 mil. and i got mine in about 2 days. Same sh*t everytime. All day you have to find loads and manage your trucks, period. Game lagging, and if you zoom closer on the map you can't see other citys and if you zoom out all citys getting messed up and it's hard to click on it. If i go visit any dealership my screen starts blinks black/green and to stop it i have to save the game, close it and reopen it. Bought it for $20 It worth about $4.99. And i wont my money back!

+ * Economy Events (Price down/up) * Special orders * 7 different Trailer Types with concessions to drive them * One big Map * Campaign * reputation system (the better the better the offers) * Soundtrack menu offers web radio * Big GUI - * Only 8 routes with room for max 3 orders (no place to take special orders when using all available Trailers at the same time) * Campaign slow paced (you have to complete the quests before you can expand) * Taken Special orders don't have a reminder (you have to search the town to access the orders and watch the clock to don't miss the starting time) * Hundreds different Trucks but only a view to make money (only new trucks, to save fuil cost, and only the expensive ones, to save half of fixed cost * Standing Orders have a extreme reduced margin and need a lot of trucks. * Marketing for nothing (extreme high fix cost for the departments and then you need to pay a lot for ads) * Taking over a company costs 1.4x of company value each time (waiting from a week to a month with any lower value) * Only one never changing map. * Most Orders don't allow time to drive to start point, and needed Trucks don't update through the process (your trucks have to be in/near town) *Big UI don't contain much information (you have to remember and click much to gain your needed info) *Bad Performance: 100FPS starting screen, 10-40FPS ingame 1080p *Bugs: - Display resolution (dopdown menu empty, no settings file, only regedit helps) - Trucks hanging at the un-/loading station (reload save fix) - Game hangs when zoming in/out too fast.

WOW, just WOW. Serriously WOW. If you wanna know what its like for a trucking dispatcher, manager, company owner of a Single truck starting company and the potential you have if you work hard and be smart. This is it. I have my own small trucking company and I dispatch and drive. This game is AMAZING. Its what I do for a living. I just wish it was this easy to find drivers in real life. Truck are easy to get, loads get easy to get, but drivers that are dependable and like to drive. I dont know. GREAT JOB DEVS. Ive been wanting a game like this for a long time. You made it down to a precision. Hit the nail right on the head. Wish I didnt have to set up headquaters way the hell up top tho. I mean the short run between the 3 cities, turns out to be really good, easy grind. I just wish campaign would let you start HQ what ever city you wanted. But I love watching the trucks, Crazy trucks drive. I love knowing each one of them has a driver that you hired and feels like they have personality. Man o man. I raise my trucker hat to you devs. Make a game like this with mafia or gangs. lol thats my next one Ive been wanting. YOU MADE ONE COME TRUE.

It becomes very repetitive very soon. If you have a lot of trucks, managing them is a nightmare. There is no quick filter for the jobs, or any sorting option.

I don't comment on games very often, but in this case I feel I simply have to. Just because the game has got mixed and lately even negative feedback, but I really enjoyed it very much and thus far (33 hours, I just finished the campaign) I didn't find anything that I didn't like. Once I got the hang of the controls and menus (which the tutorial at the start explain quite well) I got really into the flow of choosing contracts and assigning my trucks to them. It's cool to see how the company grows and to help Billy fight his evil ex-employer. I like the graphics and it's fun to follow a truck through the states once in a while. But most times one is busy controlling the contracts and choosing new ones and as soon as one expands business to other towns one finds oneselve on the map zoomed out to the the maximum, which in this state is okay too. Also my first ever computer game was Transworld on my C64, but at some point it always crashed, so I was never able to build up a big logistic company. So ever since I looked for a new logistic game based on trucks and now I think I found one that I could play for a little longer. So I will give the other game modes a try and see how they feel. Anyhow, thanks to the developers for a cool game! :)

TL;DR: A decent enough game if you get it on sale. 6/10 A pretty good logistics game with too many indications that the game was just released/abandoned rather than being polished. ***Potential Spoilers Below*** 1) Frame rate drops and graphical stuttering are the most obvious things, but the game also taxes GPUs way beyond the level you would expect for graphics of this quality. 2) A couple of game-breaking bugs that only affect achievement hunters. Quest mode sometimes generates tasks that you can't complete, but since quests are random it only breaks "some" playthroughs. This effectively kills the 'Quest Mode Professional' achievement. 'Perfect Efficient Planning' doesn't trip even though 'Fully Efficient Planning' does. Since the 'Perfect' cheevo is simply for completing the conditions of 'Fully' 3 times, it should be possible but just doesn't work. These two bugs obviously kill 'Trophy Collector' for completing all achievements. 3) Many, many quality-of-play issues that add frustration to the game. Odd translations, bizarre mechanics, and illogical choices that the devs seem to have made among them. Fuel prices increasing from $2.40 to $4.70 all at once (and vice versa), a third of my drivers having the same portrait thumbnail, contracts offered that are impossible to complete, the inability to assign trucks/drivers to a permanent home/base, the inability to sort *anything*, *anywhere* by any parameter, the list could go on and on but you get the idea. Overall, the impression I'm left with is that the developers fixed the bugs that they absolutely had to fix for a while following release and then just abandoned the game with it's remaining glitches and goofiness. It's not exactly a mess, but it's not exactly "finished" either.

I'm going to be honest, I heard about this game through the Youtuber "Raptor". The game seemed like an interesting play. Who wouldn't want to build their own truck company. In the same vein as 18 Wheels of Steel, just without the driving part. However, this game is a bit boring. Once you get the basics down playing the campaign, there's really nothing else to challenge you. Buy truck, buy proper trailer, connect to resource hub, earn money, repeat. The price tag is alittle high for me, thirty dollars ? Not reasonable. I implore my fellow gamers , we should press Steam to have some form of rental system. You get to play for a certain amount of time, or some payment system ala. Blockbuster to where you can purchase the game by small payments. In closing, Replayability :minimal. Challenge: minimal Price: Too High
