        This movie is a must watch for all the horror fans, the acting is very impressive and the story is actually very interesting that when you finish the movie it makes you wonder if it's a true story or if the pagan deity Bughuul from the movie is actually inspired from some real pagan background story. Now i'm waiting to see if Sinister 2 is going to show up here too... please... ;-;

        A strong performance from Ethan Hawke as expected, although the same can't be said for Juliet Rylance. It just wasn't convincing enough for me. Her strong English accent is rather off putting throughout each scene she's in and in general it's just acted quite amateurishly, in my opinion. Now I'm no horror fan by any means, especially those with jump scares but this movie isn't the worst I've seen, it's not the best either but it's certainly not the worst. The story was alright, an interesting concept but all around it came across far too predictable.
