A good puzzle game. About 1 hour to complete. The game is free. Have 8 levels. Try it when you need to kill some time.

Red Trigger is an ok puzzle game, but with a few problems. 1.The entire premise of creating pillars isn't that interesting. It leads to some boring puzzles that invlove more observation than contemplation. This means that you will die to a puzzle after figuring out the solution strictly because you didn't duck under a far away moving wall you didn't know to duck under. Or because you couldn't see a pillar you had to activate until the second attempt. 2.Deaths feel cheap and unnecessary. The games deaths are normally because of the aforementioned purely observational puzzles. It is not "well I messed up that." it is "Why was that necessary to the puzzle?". 3.The game has a toggle crouch and a minimalist style. I don't know about you, but those two things do not match well for me if there is no indicator. Since some puzzles require crouching for no apparent reason you will often find yourself crouching and not have noticed it because 99% of the game is pure white walls meaning there's no real change of perspective.

Portal with more platforming and no portals. But it's platforming on the Unreal engine, so a high framerate is required. It's a fine FREE game about spring pads and shooting red buttons.

Amazing short, simplistic puzzle shooter. Dev is a great guy who's super involved with his community and listens to the players of his great game. A bit glitchy, controls aren't as reliable as I'd like, but this game was a project that took around 15 weeks to make, according to dev. Actually streamed a bit of this game attempting to speedrun it (My PB is 7:04), and dev joined mid-stream and gave me some strats to use. I was super hyped about that. All in all, great game, great dev, great community, absolutely worth the free, 2 minute download. You won't regret playing this gem. 9/10.

I couldn't finish Red Trigger. Not only is it not about communism, it's not about anything. It's a super simple, super derivative puzzle game that manages to be a totally horrendous experience due to major issues with graphical fidelity and overall design. Red Trigger's most obvious influence is Portal, from which developer Maxime Vézina seems to have taken a liking to sterile white corridors as a form of minimalistic art direction, which would be fine if the way 'white corridors' had been accomplished weren't simply solid blocks of untextured white. Half the time it's impossible to comprehend where a platform ends and the next begins, because literally everything is just solid colours. I played less than an hour, and somehow Red Trigger still almost made me throw up on several occasions as my crosshair was lost in the sea of blinding white that is the environment. It's the kind of game where you get vertigo from looking at the intersect between two walls. There is no point of reference for any of your camera or character movement, so already the whole premise of this being a puzzle/platformer has gone out the window. The only tool you're given is a Google Sketchup gun which you can use to extend out platforms coloured red to create walkways or propel yourself across chasms, sort of like a simplified version of the mechanics from the similarly derivative Q.U.B.E, a game which at the very least had textures. The thing that really stops Red Trigger from finding it's feet is just how purely unoriginal it is. There isn't even an attempt to hook players in, you just launch it up, walk forward and gameplay starts. The entire game can be summarised by brief comparisons to other, better games. Unlikely many bad games, Red Trigger fails to even be truly bad - it's just bland. Had it contained at least one original mechanic or exciting gameplay feature it may have at least held some value. As it stands, the game may be somewhat tolerable to those new to gaming as a medium, but there generally isn't much in it for anyone who's played a puzzle game in the last 15 years.

An interesting, simple little game worth the price of admission... FREE. The best way that I can describe it is, it is a mix between the gameplay style of Mirror's edge, and the graphic style of Super Hot. Having said that there are a couple of issues that affect both styles. For example, you may need to hit a switch somewhere, but because the way the level was designed, you may not see it properly, or able to access it. Overall, I was impressed with the game. The graphics are impressive, and the gameplay is simple and easy to learn. Don't take my word for it, and check out my video by clicking on the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNyHvRoWbzw

First off the game is a lot of fun and also similar to the Portal games, it really tests your knowledge of your surroundings and using things around to get from place to place. For a free game it's good/challenging enough. It mixes Portal elements with a gun instead of portals. But personally I like Portal more. But if you don't have the Portal-money this is a good and solid alternative. (Only) 3 red pieces to shoot/activate with your gun to get across different types of obstacles. A very abstract game. It only contains white, red, orange, black and some blue-ish color (till the point I played). So I guess it's also friendly for people who are color-blind...
