Great visual, controls, sound. Puzzles felt a little too easy, even with all the elements like multiple balls + teleport + slopes + switches + pitfalls.

The levels somehow do restrict your creativity. It is much different than the freedom you feel in a game like Gadgeteer. You don't build that much but rather flip some switches instead. Here you also use the controllers more like pointers as a mouse replacement. This game is from a time where knuckle controller are not yet available. It feels like VR was added as a afterthought.

I got Marble Land on sale from Steam today (70% off till 6 August 2022, so aud$6.45 vs aud$22.99 on the Rift store). Plays and looks excellent on my Q2/rtx3090 with touch controllers, wireless with Air Link. It even has a proper Oculus runtime. I just needed to start up Air Link, go to the virtual desktop, and select the desktop shortcut. Works perfect and has lots of headroom and low latency. Fun little casual puzzle game and if you liked the board game Mousetrap when you were a kid, you'll love it! Cannot ask for better value imho. I also tried it with my Vive Pro/Index controllers and it also worked fine (even though the Index controllers show up as Vive wands, lol!). Even at 200% visuals I had no problem getting a smooth 90fps. To be honest it did not look any better than my Q2/rtx3090 with its res slider maxed out. This is a hidden gem imho. Cheers.

I just tried it even if i don´t have the time to play( with 2 ill kids...) I went throu all the points that were important for me. It really looks as great as you might think it would look in VR according to the trailer. You can choose 2 sizes but i prefer the miniature one. My biggest worry was that it would be to easy/short. Well i can´t say how long it takes but the 7th puzzle got me already thinking. I will update the review once i finished the game but for now i can recommend it. It is a solid Game and the prize is fine. Looking foreward to play this seated late in the evening after i am done with SPARC. Chilling... solving puzzles... what a life. But one thing for the devs: Please give me the freedom to scale and turn the level with the grip buttons. Like in Tehered. Or how you scale and turn things in Tilt Brush. This would make things easier. As it is right now it is to complicated to use. Contact me if you need further information. For everyone else: Not a dealbreaking issue.

Very interesting game! Beautiful graphics and the puzzles so far are fun with lots of mechanics being introduced. I like how there's an option for a free-camera "large mode" where you can get inside the puzzle rather than just looking down on it. Adds to the excitement IMO, and helps you to appreciate the graphical details. Hopefully there are enough levels to make sure there's enough game to enjoy, but it's priced well enough not to be a huge disappointment if it runs a little on the short side. Puzzles so far have been exclusively logic-driven, so replay value may suffer a bit. It'd be nice if there was victory music to help you celebrate completion of a puzzle and break up the rather constant ambient music. Gotta break for sleep, but I'm looking forward to playing more of this game!

Love it so far! The game looks great, I'm not playing it in VR, but I imagine it would looks even better there and the feeling of looking around the puzzle would be quite cool. Even so, without VR, the game is good and polished so far, the first levels are easy but they seem to get a bit more complex as you go. Still have a good bunch more to play, so I hope they'll really put me to the test in the next ones.

Would like teleportation and full scale character size as options. Also a tilt brush like world drag and scale would be ideal for the zoom out view. My recommendation is based on the hope that feature gets added. Bugs: View options reset to defaults when changing between areas, arenas or whatever the backdrop change is called.

I love this game. The graphics are good and the puzzles make sense. It's a casual game where you can take your time and work through the puzzles at your own rate. If you ever loved Mouse Trap, you'll love this.

For the marble puzzle enthusiast. This game was amazing to play. It was challenging but doable. They didn't make the game too incredibly hard so many age groups should be able to get pretty far if not beat it. I wish there were more maps but I would never stop playing a game like this. Thank you to the developer who responded so rapidly to fix the issues that I was having with the game. That shows a lot about how much the creator cares about the game. I hope Devious makes more of these and add even more cool elements to the game. I highly suggest getting this game if you like to be challenged. The music was relaxing and it didn't give me headaches which most games do with repetitive music. 10/10 will play again!

I heard this was like Marble Madness in VR, but it isn't at all. You don't control the ball. You move objects with a laser pointer from your motion controllers and don't even get to pick up or touch the objects. Then, you let the ball go loose with a click and just watch it roll and bounce around against the objects. It's basically a laser puzzle really. I don't recommend this at full price. Maybe, at 50 - 75 percent off.

A great puzzle game & smooth, relaxing VR experience. This would be a good VR introduction to friends who may be prone to motion sickness. I play it with the Valve Index, but use the keyboard & mouse instead of the controllers. Well worth the regular price. If you see it on sale grab it!

Awesome game....ingenuously designed puzzles. They are all very fun, and even I can figure them out given enough time, so they are not ridiculously difficult. I have seen many puzzle games that are extremely difficult, but this one is doable for the average player. Some people, that are really good at puzzle games like this, may find the puzzles easy, but they seem very challenging to me as I progress to the higher levels. I am using the standard HTC Vive, and I get full VR in the Headset, so do not let a recent negative review posted here dissuade you from purchasing this game. The trick is you just need to close SteamVR before starting the game, and let the game itself start SteamVR when you select "Play" from Steam. I am 5 hours into this game at the time of this writing, and I finished the first two (2) Chapters just now. Each chapter has 15 levels, and I am told there are three (3) chapters in total. So that is 45 levels in all, but I am hoping the developer will either continue to expand this game, or come out with a new one that is similar in nature and style. Plenty of content for the price...I got this game on sale for $7.49, but this game is still well worth the full $15 asking price. The graphics are very appealing to the eye as you play. The environments and background music and sounds are well designed. It is apparent that this developer is quite talented. My only concern was they never responded to any questions or comments / advice I provided when I contacted them. I am unsure if perhaps they do not understand English well. The HTC Vive controls move the maps very slowly, and it would be a big improvement if they could just fix that simple issue. Another small bug is that the audio cuts out sometimes. I noticed some of the reviews touched on that. To fix that issue, you just need to click with your mouse on the Marble Land desktop screen to get yiour audio back. I do not think the Dev's are actively updating much any more, but the remaining issues are nothing major. Update: I just finished the game. Three (3) Chapters with 15 Levels each. 45 Levels...Very good experience. Dev's...If you are still out there, please keep these games coming...nice job!

Just getting started and I've only done about 8 levels but it's a very well executed concept. My daughter is at the age where she's getting into setting up 'marble runs' and this is a similar concept which extends the classic 'laser & mirror' puzzle genre to a 3d interactive marble run. Love the art style and ingame play environment

What a visual treat! Even the sound effects are engaging. You have endless chances to understand the layout of each level and it's completely satisfying once you unlock the mystery. It's prevalent that the developers have artistic design skills. The views are amazing. This is one of my favorite VR games thus far. Highly intelligent and mystifying.
