I did not expect much and was really happy that this was such a good game! I still need to get the others endings, but I'm already satisfied enough to review it so. I really like the puzzles, the jumpscares and everything. It bothered me a bit that I could not change to WASD because I can't use my right hand and using the arrow keys made things a little bit harder than they should've been. Nevertheless, this kept me entertained and had many surprises I did not expect. I wasn't as captivated as I was by Ib, for example (but Ib has Garry so that's to be expected), but it was very close to it. I'm beginning to like horror RPG-makers more and more!

Mad Father used to be among the best horror RPG games at its early days already, and the latest remake and adjustments made the game experience prime. Highly recommended both to those who already love the genre and also to all the new players.

Mad Father is a game I've heard talked about a lot in the horror RPG Maker community, so needless to say, I was excited to play it! The only game I've played from the game developer Sen was Misao, so now having played Mad Father, it feels like a whole new level of quality. That's not to say Misao isn't as good, in fact I enjoyed the setting and story in that game a lot more but you can tell the game play of Mad Father is a lot more polished. I would have wished the aforementioned game-play had more tension or difficulty though as I found myself a bit bored at times. The story is serviceable and the music is okay at best but in the end, where I think this game shine best is it's nice pixel art :)

Well if it was some AAA game I would say something like: "good game try it", but for indie I have a little bit higher expectations. Still this is not a negative review becasue it was fun attraction, I didn't feel bored when I played this. The problem that this game just too simple and empty, fine cliched horror that you will forget once you finished it. 5\10.
