EDIT: Game has been updated, review is old and will be updated once I have some free time to play it and give a proper review of the current state. Straight up, the game isn't bad, it's just bare bones. It needs stuff, lots of stuff to be the game it should be. The Cons will be ordered from what I think the biggest problems are down to little annoying things (number of -). More Pros/Cons will be added later when I've had more time to enjoy the game, right now I'm just putting down the things I noticed during my short run. And no I won't be refunding, for it's price I'm going to stick with it and see how it changes. Pros + The art is nice + Some areas have nice music that doesn't sound terrible, but only some + Levels aren't horribly designed both art and layout, nothing amazing but they do their job well enough to be passable + The price isn't high, which is one of the only reasons I picked this up initially. Neutal +/- Enemies pick up in number rather quickly on some levels, for some maybe too quickly +/- 10 levels, not a lot for now but enough +/- Match times are short, in 30 minutes I've played 5-6 of the 10 maps to completion +/- More resolution options, no 1920x1080 yet, but I'm sure it's on it's way +/- More variation in the Enemies, while they all are pretty much the same thing, visually there is a variation of at least 5 different "Knights". A good step in the right direction. +/- Only one special ability, to summon 2 extra troops Cons ----- No information on your upgrades/abilities, while you can guess/assume, you really shouldn't have to. --- There is no tutorial. -- There's no way to track your progression and there are no locked levels so there's no real sense of achievement or buildup. - Some of the music duing the levels, while reflecting the art style is repetitive, some sound like a 5 second loop, others are more fleshed out luckily (The first two stages are the worst sounding) - The SFX sounds aren't that great, they do their job but also run the risk of starting to sound annoying like some of the music. I for one can't recommend this game at its current stage, but hopefully that will change within a few updates. Because as of right now, it doesn't bring anything new, different or better to the table. But don't put it out of your mind completely, just check back on it in a week or so and see if the reviews change at all, as the game is in early access and should grow to become something better over time.

Annoying music, no tutorial, bad art. It's not good. I don't even feel like writing about it. Getting a refund. Only got it because I had a coupon for it ;)

This game straight up sucks. I realized that this review wasn't very helpful based on 2 people that said it wasn't, so I thought that I would update it, since this review would straight up suck if that's all I said, so here is more information that may help: This game is for you if you like: 1. boring music 2. crappy graphics 3. not knowing what any upgrade does 4. upgrading your tower but find out it doesn't actually do any additional damage This game just feels a bit unpolished and not even worthy of being called a Computer Science project (if that's what this is).

What is this? TD for Gameboy? Even then, it won't be this broken. Get Trading Cards. Unlock all Achievements with the game options. And then, GTFO. If Steam didn't set the minimum price tag, this would've gone for S$0.10 during sales.
