    Legit one of the best PvP games of all time, at the very least one of the greats in the MOBA space. The playerbase is still OK but sadly the devs have ceased development. One of the biggest what-ifs in gaming for me, they had one of the the most well rounded competitive and balanced PvP games on their hands but ultimately the studio's own questionable decisions as well some things outside of their control ultimately led to them dropping support for the game. It really is a unique game but if i had to try and explain it then think LoL/Dota/HoTs gameplay with WASD movement instead of mouse and stripped down into pure arena brawling with no creeps, towers and objectives ect. Now having extra depth like that is great and works for those games, but Battlerite was a fresh experience because it was constant fighting. You thought about your team composition against the enemy and strategized the game accordingly, no early game and late game Heroes, just what character you picked and how you play it against what the enemy have and around your teammates picks. Quick reflexes were rewarded, mastery of Hero was rewarded, game knowledge was rewarded all the things you want in a competitive game, the skill floor wasn't so exponential you couldn't understand the basics of the game as a new player but the skill ceiling was through the roof at the high levels of play. The game isn't dead but it's hard to commit to a game you know will receive no new content or support, when all is said and done the game is really good, i miss it a lot and wish it took off more. I'm eagerly awaiting something similar to emerge with the same level of polish that Battlerite had, but for now it remains a real gem of a game that never got to truly shine,

    Game is so good! Smooth gameplay, interesting and different champs to select from, and skill cap is very high. It's such a bummer that the devs left it. For the love of God, some publisher should buy this and add onto it.

    The only review I have ever made. for this beautiful gem. I have played this game in launch and since the player base slowly vanished for no reason and getting busy i have stopped playing all together and after years. its still THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED. So i will keep playing it to keep the pop alive and do my part to revive this hidden gem

    bruh this was one of the most fun games ever, why did it die? why must ALL the good games get shut down? ffs everything that's good gets taken down so many memories sigh everything that's not league of legends or dota just... fizzles, makes me mad

    I don't think it'll never not be amusing how they put this into maintenance mode to work on Vrising , but in-game have in a very big box sectioned off just for Vrising a advertisement that Vrising is out now , with Vrising in-game not mentioning or advertising anywhere battlerite lmao. Anyway games really fun. Should play, better than Vrising 8/10

    This is an amazingly fun and polished game. 100% skill based with no grinds (In Early access at least). 2v2 or 3v3 arena gameplay that puts you into the fight right away. If you've been itching for something good to play since BLC went to the trashcan then this is it. Same people, same company, more experience. Chances are they can take this game further than blc ever went. If not now, give it a try when it exits early access, it will be F2P (for the good and bad) you won't regret it.     Take Dota2, HoN or LoL. Strip away all the farming, item buying, running around and randomness. That leaves you with pure fast paced battles in an arena. No random effects, just skill based combat with WASD controls and mouse aiming. That's Battlerite.
