    I came in with really low expectations but mostly looking forward to the gay aspect of it all. I ended up falling in love with the game and especially the companions. The initial choosing of a crime and rescuer first got me interested but after that it was a runaway train. Sure the combat is simple but it really amps up when you unlock the powerful weapons. The story itself reminds me a lot of digital devil survivor for my SMT fans out there. All stuck in a place, trying to survive, endings based on embracing or escaping the island. I enjoyed all the small writing bits like the factions and how every bastard was lowkey innocent so it just shows a corrupt system. Not to mention sometimes your party members comment on events which ignites my rpg lover heart. Add on to that the Orc Nazar sweet romance, spicy hook ups, and overall funny dialogue and the game really shines. Also ending slides for the bastards with different endings? Some rpgs don't even do that today anymore. It's not goty by far but for a indie game basically advertised as just a gay sex game it really wasn't (no complaining here there would've loved more gay sex) it's a well thought out tactical rpg of sorts. Truly a diamond in the rough. Also I got it for like $5 lol total worth

    Hidden gem. Seems basic on the surface, but if you dig deep enough you will see the beauty in its simplicity.

    Ahh.. this game is really weird but not bad at all. In nice Tactic game faction, B@astard Bonds does everything like it should, lots of builds you can make by leveling up RPG style and equiping the right items, build your party of four and explore the over 80 locations the game has to offer. I dont understand why most of the characters like to be nudists, but hey. As long as they arent hurting anyone. (anyone good that is, wait.. is there anyone good in this prison island? eh.. you get the point) Most achievements can only be gotten once you fully explore the island and that will take time, dont expect unlocking anything until you are a few hours in. Achievements will only pop once you quit the game though.. yeah, its one of those. Game can be hard if you dont pay attention to your defenses, since most ambushes make enemies start first unless you have a DEX build. Just remember that you can change difficulty in the options: Band will make new places spawn monsters according to your band's average level (even recruits back in your base) and Leader will make their levels equal to your Lead MC. As for artwork gameplay and music, they are alright, no problems anywhere really, this is a quality game. The premise is very interesting and the story picks up once you learn about the big bad, but the first hours were spent just exploring and getting stronger, very enjoyable. B@astard Bonds gets 21 one-hit crits out of 33 unwanted dong sightings.

I thought it was pretty good, if you're on the fence there's a free demo that acts as the opening tutorial and the contiguous 4 zones to the north-east. Give it a try, if you like the demo you'll like the full game.
