  Not something you would expect from a game released in 2016. Very basic graphics, collisions. Quite a few glitches. Very long tutorial. It also defaults to Deutsch on first start.

  i wasnt expecting much but man, this game is beyond bad, awful graphics, awful frame rate, the guy you have to follow around is a clone of everybody else so you just instantly get lost, its just horrible man

  It's not as bad as people make out. The game was made in 2011, it doesn't look too bad. Yeah cheaking the fence is a ball ache and landing gear fires take the piss but I actually really enjoy the game. If you have any intrest in the Airport Fire service then I would say to give it a shot, I've played worse games.

  terrible, bad graphics, forced into small screen with massive black borders all around and its advertised in english but is only set in one language and it aint english and you cannot change this, payed money for something so bad, DO NOT GET !

  [h1]Tentative review just after the tutorial[/h1] [b]PROS[/b] [olist] [*]Very large airport area [*]Varied vehicular traffic; certainly not the ones you see in a typical street; these are specialized vehicles. [*]AI traffic courteous enough to slow down and give way and smart enough to move on and proceed when i slowed down and gave way to them. [*]Seen a typical sized large aircraft land on the a runaway [*]Many runaways both long and short [*]There are helicopters parked. Dunno if i'll get the fly them. [*]Music seems alright but so far i've only heard one track. [*]Command car, Florian 1, although seems basic in general appearance is quite detailed in operation. There are working dashboard indicators such as; [list] [*]headlights indicator [*]signal indicators left and right [*]hazard lights indicator [*]beacon light indicator [*]siren indicator [/list] [*]Of course all these indicators actually correspond to working external lights and siren. [*]Headlight effects seems okay and believable; there's sufficient glow and glare effects when it shines on the back of the chief's Florian 2. [*]Vehicular handling is okay judging from how Florian 1 handles but no suspension effects. It floats over rough grass areas but acceptable since this game is not about vehicle handling but rather functions with regard to firefighter duties. [*]Frame rates are adequate at 1920x1080 and medium settings; nearly 60 fps [*]You can jump and sidestep [*]You can walk through people and doors so no worries about anything blocking your way like what happens in Helicopter Police Simulator. [*]Since this is about airport firefighting operations it makes sense to recreate an airport in detail and to scale although i dunno which airport does this represent. [*]The tutorial talks about old and new buildings. Don't know how relevant this is in context of the game or whether it refers to an actual airport. [/olist] [b]CONS[/b] [olist] [*]Avatar of chief who showed me around looks a tad nicer than their other blokes in their other firefighter simulations who are not chiefs but rather senior fat colleagues. Not that i haz anything against bloated avatars; just saying. BUT the chief here walks queer, like as if swaying down the catwalk. Maybe he's gay? ok ok just kidding. The other blokes are quite straight, i mean in the way they walk. [*]General lighting effects are quite poor in the base. [*]Mouse look around is too sensitive and there seems no way to reduce it other than to play in high res. [*]Main menu starts in German language but you can take a guess and click on something to get into the options screen to change it to English. [*]Tutorial takes about 1 hour because of this long walkabout inside the base and travelling outside in a car with pauses on every instruction which is fine since it caters for both fast and slow readers. Maybe it would be better if the tutorial is done in stages according to game progression rather than all in one session. So if you miss the tutorial or don't remember something, you got to repeat it from the beginning. Or you could record the whole thing and watch it again later. [/olist] I enjoyed the tutorial's tour around the tarmac and for that i give a [b][i]6/10[/i][/b] for now. Will update this review when i get more playtime.

  It's a pretty fun game. Graphics aren't great, all the textures are German(I believe)and it took me a minute to switch it to English. It's a time consuming game and it can take a while to get a call and so far the biggest I've had is a small aircraft on fire but then I've only just become a leading fireman. Overall I would recommend the game. It's pretty fun, especially if you like roleplaying(kinda)due to the ranks, furnished fire station, waiting for calls, fuel, water refilling etc. and also if you're bored. I got it for £2.88 and to be honest I wouldn't be bothered paying full price(I got the bundle so it was only around £15 anyway but still).

  Not the best game of its kind around, but certainly the best of the EIG series. It was some fun to play but it quickly becomes repetitive. If you like fire fighting games and the genre in general, it might be worth the buy. Otherwise, you probably want to look at one of the different alternatives.
